I had better experience with X... moreSee? You get it! I feel like those who critisise Xiaomi did not even try one, or at least a midrange one where it shines.
I loved Samsung, just like I loved apple back with ipods and iphones up until 4th gen. Note 4 was amazing, Note FE was ok for the specs and even 21 models had some value. But now? It is laughable. Xiaomi seems to fall down that path now, but not fast, luckily.

Yes, more bugs and annoying optimizations but the features are worth it for the right user. Me, for instance. I can easily live with the cons of the MIUI for the pros.

aknsreddy, 18 Jan 2022Why people buying these phones?Because they want decent specs and super battery life. Great UI and normal camera. You don't need a flagship for everyday usage. And Xiaomi isn't good at all. MIUI is miled behind of One UI.

aknsreddy, 18 Jan 2022Why people buying these phones?I buy samsung. And i own a51. Waiting for a53 coz a52 is too small of an upgrade for me.
Why i buy these phones? For the no-frills of using it (closest to apple's "just work" for android). I've hopped from xiaomi and then nokia (3 years ago when their android one phones are decent). Nowadays i want sth thats familiar, easy to repair and have good software upgrade (samsung has improved alot on this front).
Things i like abt a51 (which also true for some samsung budget phone)
- good additional software support (onehand+ for gesture, bixby routine for enable things according to time/location)
- good camera app (they put effort into it)
- easy to find accessories
I guess it's not enthusiasts wish list 😂. Just putting perspective for us all

450 or 500 bucks for a device where even xiaomi gives much faster chargers and charging speeds to devices with price of 150 or 200.

It's a big upgrade over the previous A52 with Snapdragon 720g which didnt support 5g. People here are confused and comparing it with the S variant (A52S 5G) which is ofcourse more powerful and it's successor is yet to be announced

The phone should come at a price range of about $300-$350 and the Exynos 1200's Geekbench scores are miles ahead of it's predecessor the SAMSUNG GALAXY A52 with SD 720G. If anything it may get hot but that's yet to be found out. The A53S is not announced or rumoured (with any base) right now. This is a really good phone for the price. I miss the headphone jack, but that's pretty much normal now... The 15w charging is pretty bruh though

Stick with a52s. You get SD 778g. There's a 8gb ram version. Headphone jack. And it's price already coming down
