Unless you work at ... moreIt heats more because Qualcomm allows it to reach that level of temperature, all while sustaining higher peak performance.
It only shows that the Exynos is afraid of going that far in temperature rise. Pathetic.

Goddess Lyrienne, 19 Jan 2022In a way Apple did contribute to Android's growth. so ... moreAnd 5) In 2020, Apple reinstated the old iPhone 4/5 design with the flat squared sides in their iPhone 12. A great departure from the typical rounded sides you see with the glass curved from both top and bottom, which left just a thin strip of metal to grip the phone.
Also, to add onto point #3, removing the headphone jack also brought the invention of USB-C DACs, which audio enthusiasts like me have been obsessed about.

AnonD-1034280, 18 Jan 2022tHaTs So 2018 w€ iN 2022... You make iFans sound sensible. In a way Apple did contribute to Android's growth. so while I'm Android ever since 2010 or so. (My only Apple product is a MacBook Pro that I got from work)
there are places where I say "thank you" to Apple.
SOME EXAMPLES:
1. Apple's TouchID in 2013 brought our Android phones Security. Imagine what would've happend if Android makers didn't copy the iPhone 5S's fingerprint sensor?
2. Apple experimented with High refresh rate about 4 or 5 years before ANDROID vendors even tried high refresh rate. Someone's gotta be the pioneer. no?
3. 2016 brought us the TWS craze. THANK YOU for this! no more cable tangle.
4. 2017 brought the notch... that later became punch-hole and then hide-able cameras and today android vendors are experimenting with under-display cameras.

AnonD-1034280, 18 Jan 2022tHaTs So 2018 w€ iN 2022... You make iFans sound sensible.Mind you. I'm camp Android. (I do have a Macbook Pro. but it's a bit forced on me... my main driver is a windows laptop)
ANYWAY. to be honest to SOME FEATURES we have to say thank you to these fans...
and I'll state what I mean:
1. In 2013 Apple Introduced the iPhone 5S. it triggered the craze to have fingerprint sensor on android phones.
2. In 2015 Apple experimented with high refresh rate for its iPads. we have high refresh rate on PHONES thanks to that.
3. 2016 was the year AirPods were introduced. we have all kinds of TWS eaerphones today.
4. 2017 was the year of the notch. While Andy Robin's phone was the first with an official phone. (something PH-1 I think...) Apple was the trigger to create notches. that later became punch-holes and then slide/flip cameras..
SO YEAH. I don't always agree with Apple. But they have their credit when due.

AlienKiss, 18 Jan 2022So what? Sony has the SD card slot, the 3.5mm jack, 4k disp... moreAnd do you think complaining about it in gsmarena is going to make any difference ? These are huge companies that have one and only purpose, making as much money as possible. I don't know who created this lie that a company's purpose is satisfy their customers , wake up, it's just a fantasy. As for Sony, they're not serious at all about the smartphone market, they're market share is not even a thing, they release a smartphone almost a year after the announcement, thay dont give a damn about you or anyone, they make their money elsewhere, so they have the luxury to play it however they want, 2 or three years from know you'll be complaining about them too. Unlike other companies that rely on their smartphone department to make money, the real profit to them is in accessories, they will make you buy their own wireless earphones, chargers and etc. 5 years ago it was insane for an average person to buy 100$ earphones, today a 90$ wireless pair of earbuds is considered a budget product. And removing sd card slots pushes people to buy higher storage variants of the same product. So wake up and stop complaining, go find yourself a Kickstarter product that might satisfy your needs.

Anonymous, 18 Jan 2022Your future xperia 1iv is gonna cost $1400-1450 for the 12/... moreSo what? Sony has the SD card slot, the 3.5mm jack, 4k display with huge DPI density, charger and headphones included in the box. And no hole in the display.
The price difference is not that big if you take all of those things into consideration.
I seldom switch phones and that's why I when I want to upgrade my phone, I always buy only high-end flagship products WITH the SD card slot available. Samsung is basically forcing me to go back to Sony.

Do you even know what a "hypothetical statement" even means? Get a freaking dictionary man and then return to discussion. It was a hypothetical statement of how you can extrapolate chipset performance if all they state is "It's X percent faster than Exynos 2100". Or will you now say I stated Exynos 2200 is X% faster and make dumb claims about it again and say how X is not even a number?
