OT: I have a feeling that this chip won't be as "powerful" as snapdragon but will serve better battery life. That's the only important thing to me.

I'm looking forward to the GPU performance. Having AMD on board should be a boost for Samsung to beat Qualcomm's Adreno GPU.

Exynos 2200’s advanced multi-format codec (MFC) makes videos truly come to life. It decodes videos up to 4K at 240fps or 8K at 60fps and encodes up to 4K at 120fps or 8K at 30fps ,
in the pass Exynos could recorded 1444p videos while SD conterpart only recorded 1080p and samsung lock 1444p video on exynos version .

Exynos 2100 is slightly slower than S888, but has much worse battery life. Let's hope Exynos 2200 improve and diffrence will be neglectable.

Why y... moreYour comparison makes zero sense. A correct one would be. Why do you need a car being able to drive 300 km/h per hour if you are just able to drive 100 km/h. Why do you need a graphics chip being able to render 800 fps if you can just have 200.
The answer is you do not need.
Joking aside the growing power of the SoCs is important just for marketing because some ppl look at them and choose a smartphone based of that even if they do not need it. There might be some power gamers that can make at least partial use of it but for 95% of the users it is just waste.
It is more important that the SoCs/Smartphones provide a good heat management and being power efficient.
