Avais Tipu , 18 Jan 2022I am also thinking same...S10 is working great for me but b... moreI'll be keeping my S10+ another year, they look ok but just recieved Android 12 update and it's not enough of an improvement IMHO.
New battery in the S10+ and I'll be golden until the s23s have had time to go down in price a bit.
No expandible memory really annoys me as it means you need to think about your most extreme use case scenario and then purchase accordingly instead of just being able to add an sd card.
Shitty move Samsung at least losing the headphone jack can kindve be justified with Bluetooth buds staying to have decent battery life and are available at kinda reasonable price but what's the alternative for SD card that warrants removing it? Esp considering you still have the Sim tray there atm? Silliness

Anonymous, 20 Jan 2022Then replace the aging battery. The S10 is a better device ... moreThe s22+ has a bigger faster battery, as with every phone battery life is always based and average users but today's era can't function with out having there phone Infront of them, the note series were Samsung's best devices, so don't you find it wierd they didn't realise a new note last year in August? The s22 ultra is now the new note with having the stylist built in if rumors are right

The S10 is a better device than the S22, with its MicroSD slot and headphone jack. Only negative is the older camera. 5G doesn't matter because coverage sucks almost everywhere and is a battery drain.

Anonymous, 18 Jan 20221080 is more than enough and you can't tell the differenceYou easily can, in a PenTile AMOLED. I compared two Samsungs, a QHD sAMOLED and 1080p AMOLED. QHD display is much crispier, and it makes a huge difference when it comes to details. I tried switching resolutions on an S10+ & S20, and they both look way better in 1440p. It makes a huge difference even if it's your first time using it

Anonymous, 18 Jan 20221080 is more than enough and you can't tell the differenceyou can when u used 1440p only for years
still i dont understand why they cheap up like that

is it the same shape and size as the s21+?

L.O.R.D, 18 Jan 2022I've owned at least four phones with Quad HD display, ... more"but it also depends on the quality of the panel used" is the conclusion. If all variables are kept constant, unless one is bringing the phone very close to the face, or "mega-zooming" in, there'd be no discernable difference between FHD and QHD. This is a sub-7 incher were talking about here after all.

nonsense, 18 Jan 2022you can't, others can - that's the difference....... moreOthers, including you, can't. Definitely not from normal phone usage distance.

Awesome, I think I’ll upgrade from my S10 to the S22+. Ultra is too big and I don’t need the extra features.

People are so weird.. If you give them 120hz and a high resolution they cry because their battery doesn't last a day.
When they downgrade the resolution to get a better battery life and keep the buttery smooth 120hz , they cry because the resolution is not good enough for them.
If you give them everything: Premium build quality, good hardware, high resolution + 120hz and a good batterylife they cry again because the price is too high.

My point is, you just cannot please everyone

AbdoelJr., 18 Jan 2022Finally.. Symmetrical bezels.. 😍😍😍Dont jinx it bro, in pre release pics they always show like this, can only hope it turns to reality

                                  S21 sales were disappointing.
No wonder S22 will be same.
People tend to buy lesser expensive phones since they are more than enough to do daily tasks and gaming.
No need to overpay, especially while cheaper models last more than 2-3 years.

nonsense, 18 Jan 2022you can't, others can - that's the difference....... moreUnfortunately, the vast majority can't and that's why manufacturers stagnate or hold back technology. The minority who want the top-of-the-line features will grumble, accept a compromise, and move on.

[deleted post]Why is that? The A15 on iphones this year are better than the snap 888 and gen 1, by benchmarks we already saw. The power consumption is just ridiculous, the fast charging is even faster to justify the lack of efficiency so you can degrade your battery faster.

Is that why you think Samsung is going to be better? You can keep your oven chips and change battery every year and a half, apple has won this time and I'm not even a fanboy.

The S22 series is going to be even more expensive, less battery, less efficiency, same old cameras apart from tiny upgrades and some pre-order bonuses to keep you happy.

                                        [deleted post]So what?
We buy what we want everyone... I dont like Apple and buy Android, but to be honest... Im really tired of Android... Same same.
