First Exynos 2200 benchmarks emerge

We'd advise against reading too much into those at this point though.

You can find all the numbers guys in this comment section . Can anyone just say , i trust Samsung or apple or whatever and i trust them when they say "this is the next gen cpu . " I mean they are the engineers . What do we know ? Except ... Numbers

    Crapynos as always.

As you can see, you shouldn't trust AnTuTu anymore

I hate it when you always have the pure performance in mind. This is just to shallow. Performance is relative to power consumption. What if Exynos 2200 has the same performance with Exynos 2100 but with 40% lower power consumption? That is the power!

          Clickbait.
Cortex X2 having the same numbers as X1 in 2100?
          Lol

Anonymous, 18 Jan 2022Given how numbers contradict eachother with Geekbench stati... moreAntutu has 2 scoring aspects other than CPU and GPU, which is memory management and UX. If geekbench (represents CPU) and gfxbench (represents GPU) scores doesn't improve, then the only improvements are from the memory and UX... which is really unlikely because mem management and UX almost never involve the chipset performance. So yeah these scores are sus

No need for damage control.. no disclaimer necessary

The 2200 is not up to scratch it has improved over the exynos 2100 whish is nothing to brag about

If I had $1 dollar and I gained another dollar that's a 100% improvement over my previous balance .......

And we can see this most likely the case as samsung LOVES to brag about display A+ rating and 1700 nits peak brightness and LTPO this and that THEY LOVE to talk number

But strangely not a single mention of CPU and GPU numbers..

Thats why they canceled the Exynos 2200 presentation, every year the European costumers get the measly Exynos and pay the same price as for the Snapdragon. They do not respect the European costumers, they can`t sell the Exynos in the US, India and China. If this Exynos 2200 benchmark stands by release, i will not buy it.

Given how numbers contradict eachother with Geekbench stating it's same as last year and Antutu having almost 50% jump, there is clearly something weird going on. Would suggest waiting for same benchmarks on actual retail units before jumping to conclusions.

When you compare scores to last year, this years flagship SOCs have barely improved except of AI performance.

This is very rough if true. I hope it at least manages heat and battery better.

"There are a couple of major disclaimers here, though. The first one is that this is preliminary scores and the actual performance of finalized chipset will likely be different from what is clearly an early engineering unit."

Yeah preliminary but the truth is, every year we see that "oh take this with a grain of salt, lacking optimization in the software yada yada...." but in the end, after all that optimization, we see that the scores might improve 5-10% max. And that's in the best of cases. These numbers are clearly close to the final scores. Maybe single core goes from 1100 to 1200 and multicore from 3500 to 3700 after optimizations and that's it. Which is unimpressive and clearly behind Snap 8 gen1...
