Might as well buy a basic, bar-shaped smartphone. You open the flip to use it. The coverscreen of the zflip3 already covers its basic purpose. The motorola razr indeed has its own pros. But its cons overpower the totality of the device namely the processor (with its price it should come with the sd888) and its screen (that chin does bring nostalgia but beats its purpose).

        And this is why motorola does better than samsung. They focus more on usability rather than power specs.

        Thats why you have a proper external display. This is ridiculous. you will always have to open the phone to do everything.

        There is a new Moto RAZR 3 on the horizon. Samsung watch and learn.

              Motorola still has the best cover display for these foldable clamshells. Razr 5G's cover display is bigger and more useful and seamless. It's not perfect because cover displays are shaped in landscape and most apps are built for portrait.

              The Flip 3 has the 2nd best cover display for these recent flip phones but it's still too small and SamSprung a
              has issues going from small to big display. SamSprung can only be used with Bixby which needs an internet connection if you want a lock screen and can't go from inner to outer.

              While Razr has no issue going from outer to inner or vice-versa. No need to have internet either. Motorola is still tops for cover displays on flip phones.

I've had mine since September and it's genuinely brilliant. The folding form factor means it fits perfectly in my pocket, unlike some of the large-screened devices available, and this was the first folding phone that truly interested me. The 4 is too big and bulky when folded and I don't need to carry a tablet with me all the time.

                    Battery isn't great, but on average I get 18 hours between charges out of mine which day to day is perfectly fine. It just depends how I'm using it and if I'm having a heavy use day I need to keep a battery bank with me, but I've had to do that with any phone I've ever had...

                    The screen is still in top condition and my earlier fears that the folding mechanisms and the screen would break have so far not come to fruition after nearly six months of daily use.

                    The biggest disappointment with the Flip 3 is that Samsung see it as a fashion phone rather than a business phone, so they haven't included DEX on it despite it being in their flagship arena.

I have it since August 2021 as a main phone, taken it to the beach, use it constantly to check emails, social media and stuff and battery lasts a day and a half easily. Screen is more robust than the first version (which I also had) and it has a great format to have a big screen that doesn't take space. Exactly because i have it folded apart from when I'm using it, the screen is almost always protected.

                        There are only two issues with this phone: Camera and charging speed (which in a way related to the the battery use, since you need to manage use so as to have time to charge it).

                                    I just tried it out and then deleted it. I'll stick to SamSprung. This launcher won't let me use it and SamSprung at the same time. It has interesting widgets like for my weather and music app but it's not particular useful for streaming apps, MX Player Pro, or emus.

                                    I really only use SamSprung for watching videos either from my collection or Netflix. And only sometimes use it for Dasher, GMaps, and Dolphin MMJR2. I'll stick to SamSprung and One UI 3.1.1 as One UI 4 broke using SamSprung.
