universal support is given by spotify regardless of the ecosystem you are in.streaming music service is not only for smartphones or PCs. every smart tv,tv box, smartwatch has spotify support back to 2014 models, not apple music or any other.only thing missing is HiFi support for some niche audiophiles but,it makes no sense for average listeners. because a unique sound setup is required to hear HiFi difference.

Apple pay artists twice the amount per stream compared to Spotify.
              But many don't seem bothered.

Spotify for me, despite it not being best in sound quality. It's not just about music but there are more podcasts I enjoy on Spotify which aren't on others.

Deezer all the way. I have used most of them. Deezer with Hi-Fi sound and definately most accurate succestions simply is the best at least for me. I suggest try it out. And all songlists are easy to migrate

Spotify is best. I've been using it since 2013, and it never failed me. 10 years almost, and it is worth every penny for all audiophiles out there.

This is all great, of course. But for those who prefer to buy music, not to subscribe to all these services, there are not so many options right now. And this is sad. If you live outside of the US, it seems like iTunes is the only option to buy licensed music.

BlivAK, 20 Jan 2022This has been debunkedNot really, they really do have better sound quality on their top subscribtion, but others are quickly catching up, Amazon is offering the best available quality (from artists) in their base version (called Amazon Unlimited). I am currently trying it out with their free trial, but my earphones were not very expensive so I wouldn't even notice a big difference. The only time I notice a difference is with some music that is in "360 reality audio", which is basically just a filter that provides more spatial sound. I like it but it's no reason to switch your music service. Eventually after I try out all the services I think I will use YouTube Music because I watch a lot of YouTube and there are no ads if you pay €2 extra.

Of course Spotify is the first, it was also the first on the market. I've used Spotify for about a year, but then I decided to try all the other services, too. They usually offer 3 months free, so I would only save money in the process. So far I tried YouTube Music, Apple Music and now on Amazon Music. The best one I like so far is YouTube Music, because it also offers YouTube without ads (altough you must pay about €2 a month extra). Music selection is the same in all these services and I listen through wireless Samsung Galaxy Buds+, so I wouldn't notice differences in soud quality, because my earbuds are no miracle, but I still absolutely love them. I recommend everyone to try out all these services because it's free and you will still support your favorite artists who get paid that cent even for free playback of their songs.

If I'm not mistaken. Apple Music price subscription is more expensive than Spotify. People I guess would be prefer Spotify, except Apple users maybe.

I use JOOX, I don't pay for subscription, I just keep check-in everyday to get VIP status.

Android users usually will looking for APK to get rid of the ads or listen for free forever (same goes for other category like games and video making apps and so on) while iOS users usually will pay for it. So, yeah. Android users are cheapskates.

Don't get me wrong, I'm using iPhone and Android phone as my daily drive and I paid my Nova launcher Prime, bought game (android) and Apple music (I use it on my iPhone and Android phone)
