Even i used to love spotify. But its kinda expensive. In my country jiosaavn is just 5.3 dollars and wink music is 4 dollars per year. And most of the time it will be in offer for just 1.3 dollars per year. Spotify never used to give any offer or discounts. I'm from india.

Try to use BLACKHOLE app. Its from FOSS. Either on F-droid or aurora. Its free and open source and has free download. Real download you cam play in any offline players. Has a decent collection. Must check.

I use apple one subscription and apple music. I see no difference between spotify and apple music for the type of music i am interested in. The sound quality is much much better on apple music though.

Unpopular Opinion but, I cancelled my Spotify and started buying all my music in 16 or 24 bit/buy the CDs. Say you pay 10 USD a month. Thats 120 USD a year multiplied by say.... 20 years. Thats 2400 bucks... That should cover I think most if not everyones music library tbh. Also Spotify CEO is openly backing and funding a AI weapons startup... Y'all really wanna contribute to such things? Not for me Im out. You OWN the music and OWN the files incase they get corrupted or lost on your device.

Only iPhone users used Apple music, 15% is about right. I remember most fruit-rear-kissing media said Apple music will dethrone Spotify 😄 🤣

Happy for Spotify. I don't know if it's a bug or not, but sometimes I got 2 consecutive ads after every 1 song. That's freaking greedy. Impossible to listen to as a free user.
But most of the times it's 1 ad after 3-4 songs, that's ok.

Spotify is too expensive for people who aren't listening every day. I wish they had a cheap option with a 1 or 2 Hr daily limit
