These things in other countries are rare especially in countries like India, South America and in the Caribbean etc where you don't oftenly see people drive cars with built-in wireless chargers bars or coffee shops having tables with built-in wireless chargers for people to come and freely use. Not to mention the majority of the people that walk around with devices that don't even take advantage of wireless charging due to minimum wage or other reasons.

But quite a lot of them have Qi chargers around. Some even built into the tables. Cars also have Qi spots where before you basically had to have a charger for the 12V socket and then also USB cable. It's not a fast, but the other day while I was sipping on coffee, my iPhone XR charged from something 30% to around 75%. I didn't have to charge it for 1 day because of that.

Nexus One, 22 Jan 2022I've tried using iOS and Android at the same time 11 y... moreThe no bluetooth file transfer is a stupid one, but if that's so incredibly annoying, then you'll always find something to nitpick about. I was also shocked it's not a thing after coming from Android, but then I just accepted it's that way and forgot about it. In 3 years I owned it I missed the feature like 5 times. I'll live.

Charging is also not that problematic. USB-C even if standard and higher chance of someone having cable, there is still tons of users with microUSB phones and if you'll ask them for cable, you'll be out of luck with iPhone or your brand new Galaxy A or S. You'll still need you own cable. And when you're at that point, you may just as well have Lightning. Qi charging is universal and works with iPhone too and there is a lot of Qi chargers everywhere these days, in bars, in cars, you'll find one almost easier than an available USB-C cable.

iPhones or iOS in particular have few stupid things, but it also has many things that Android just doesn't have. Like really long software support, fast updates delivery without any of the seeding/regional nonsense, zero maintenance "fast like it's new" OS that just runs fast whether it's new phone or phone you've been using for 3 years without a single factory reset. It's something you notice and appreciate over longer period of time and not when you're "on and off" using iOS for few days and then using Android for weeks and months and then try iOS again. But some just don't like iOS and that's fine. There is plenty of Android phones to choose from.

I've tried using iOS and Android at the same time 11 years ago. Then I left iOS in 2013 and then tried doing the dual OS thing in 2017 and again in 2021. It's pointless. I can't Bluetooth files from an iPhone to an Android and vice-versa. I need to bring an extra cord since iPhone still uses Lightning.

To me, iOS is like that sitcom Friends. I can't stand it and find it highly annoying. People are only attached to Friends because of nostalgia when it was never a great or funny show in the first place. The iPhone and Friends appeals to the lowest common denominator. Ones who don't think very much.

Anonymous, 22 Jan 2022apple is literally last to have dual camera.....And what's the point of being first to have two cameras and neither is good? There is tons of phones with 4 cameras and they are usually so bad they solely exist for the MOAR CAMERAS bragging. 90% of users only really need regular and ultra wide, so two and those 10% also want telephoto with mega zoom. All those token macro lenses are all rubbish and only 2 or 3 phones really use something half decent for that.

Got my first iPhone (the 11), used it for 8 months, tried my best to love it but I couldn't wait to switch back to Android. It was a good phone but once you use it for a long time you realize it's nothing special, and I just enjoy using Android much more, even though I'm just a light user. For me, the iPhone is good but just quite overrated. I relate to the "it's just not me being me" part, so true! I just felt weird using an iPhone, ugh.

And yea Google phones are overrated af.

Why iphone only keep upgrading the camera? Why not make other feathures better to make it more convenient and faster than other competition since the price is higher. Not everyone is camera geek. Hoping they would notice this.
