      Refer my previous definition of flagship. Anything which is most important to the organistation which pack most powerfull and rich feature thats a flagship.

      I gave example Tecno flagship has helio G95, G95 is not flagship soc but Tecno Phantom is their Flagship series, so its flagship phone even though It use G95 because Tecno doesnt have Anything else with Better Chipset.

      Not just Tecno there was a time Big companies like HTC and LG use sd 652 in their flagship for certain markets, HTC 10 was at that time, it was flagship even though it had midrange soc. Why is it a flagship? Because at those market nothing top sd 652, they didnt sell sd 820 version there.

      So flagship phone not necessarily to have all flagship material, it just need to be top of the line phone from certain company.

Even if you have flagship chispet that doesn't mean it's a flagship phone as we have Poco F series with the best chipset, but the rest is mediocre so it can't go in the same sentence with other flagships outhere.
        Mi 9T was never a flagship. Even his Pro brother which came with Snapdragon 855 wasn't a flagship. Do you even know what flagship means?
        Btw.. back than, Redmi was still under Xiaomi line of phones and only Mi and Mix were flagship grade. Mi 9 was a flagship, but Mi 9T, Mi 9 SE and Mi 9T Pro not. Type in Google search bar: "what is a flagship device?"

              You should understand meaning of flagship first. Flagship is most important thing produced by a company, if its phone the one which they put latest and most powerfull tech compared to all of their devices thats flagship.

              Small brand like Tecno or infix they use Helio G96/95 in their flagship, G96 is not flagship grade soc but for them thats their flagship.

              Redmi k series is flagship from redmi, even if they did use sd 730G at that time other thing were better than your typical midrange. It had Super Amoled Hdr10 display (which was better than Mi9 and A70, Telephoto, motorized camera, premium build quality etc.

              A71 isnt flagship just upper midrange s20 was flagship because s20 was better in many thing. But if s20 didnt exist and most powerfull device from sammy were A71 then A71 would be flagship.

                Like k40 series had sd 870 and dimensity 1200, K20 series had sd 855 and sd 730, redmi k30 series had 865 and 730G etc.

                                  Some people are giving misinformation that exynos 1200 is better than 778g or even 870. There's no proof of that. From information available, its worse. Gsmarena posted Geekbench for exynos 1200 back in december and it was worse than 778g
