At least Nokia does good mostly on its updates, unlike HTC which keeps us guessing for too long.

I like to buy a 808 nokia. do you recommend it or ... moreYes. In the meantime Symbian is fast and responsive and especially the functionality is very good (for business as much as for multimedia).
Additionally you will get the (by far) best Camera-Smartphone ever (huge 1/1,2" sensor, carl zeiss optics, ND-Filter...) with amazing sound recording capabilities (HAAC microphone, clear sound up to 140db, stereo).
You will love it ;)

1) the night shots s... moreWell, as people point out, Nokia 808 is actually great in darkness for photos if you adjust ISO for example...but it is more up to the users knowledge...

question what realy killed symbian? It was and still is a good mobile phone operating system.is it that they lucked ideas or is it that they went to sleep? What is it that ios and android did that symbian forgot to do?

The 808 is the best camera phone - the premium camera phone ever, step change. Supporting it will enhance the PureView brand name. Now, what they have to do is port this ability to the WP Nokias and their future will look brighter and sharper.
