If the new device(s) employed by exynos_5 WELL DONE. BUT not a repetition of the "wave 3 -S8600" story. And all these of course IF TIZEN REMAINS OPEN SOURCE O.S.

I've said before on here that just because I don't want a particular phone doesn't mean i want to have the choice of having that particular phone taken away from me, I want to choose for myself.

for a better user experience why not? people just want an assurance of continuing support, more gamezzz more appzzz and exciting OS Samsung!

are you going to leave android or youre just giving us choices? i suggest you do not depend on one os if you can afford it. now there will be a competition of a lot of OS coming, which is good to improve every os.

do not loose it samsung youre already there

Its going to be another orphan like Bada..enough ..
Only Android and IOS are real players..

I said it few years ago here on GSMArena and I'm gonna say it again:
I really don't know what Scamsung was thinking when they released their own Bada OS?!
They already entered the market with a strong mobile OS (Android)!
I do understand Tizen, because it is supported by many huge firms and has global acceptance.
But this OS will only hold if it is really 100% open-source, so a herd of freelance devs could contribute and make this OS awsome.
But then again I'm affraid the "scam" in Scamsung name could one day come out and destroy everything. Like they did with Bada and Nokia did with MeeGo.
There is a great article on Scamsung on engadget or verge (I can't remember) that unfolds the truth that they scam everybody everywhere and they aren't going to stop anytime soon. :/

We need to have several mobile OS choices, but not more than 100 heck not more than 10.
It needs to be a fine number that holds two keys for the consumers:
                        1. low prices
                        2. multiple apps/games

Believe me, just use Android or even iOS. We need to have some OS that does its jobs very good. We do not need a plenty of phones with difference OS. We need more games and apps on both Android and iOS, that's why we have to use it. Let the manufacturers see we only want Android!!!

Tizen is just the most current form of LIMO, the OS that was on the HORRIBLE Vodafone 360 handsets(the os being the main reason those phones were so bad). So unless its seen some huge improvements i would leave this os in the dirt.

Ubuntu is basically native OS (where apps are run directly, unlike Android which use VM to run apps). So it's resources consumption should be less than Android.
