All carrier's phon... morewhat i meant my special needs friend is that the overall price u are gonna pay is so huge that 80 bucks does not make a difference, and if they want to they can get those 80 bucks just by charging u 4 more bucks per month so who gives a dam about this kind of news anyway.

                  That is subsidized price, not real one. I.e. it's not price at all. It's a first credit payment.

You pay them a down payment of 8000 INR, and a monthly EMI which forms a major part of the 4000 INR per month bill. For 2 years.

                          You get a better deal in India. A 4000 INR EMI will last only nine months. You pay the telecom providers for what you use, which can be as low as 99 INR per month for EDGE/GPRS or 249 INR per month for 3G.
