I'll never understand companies having such lame software support for devices that cost this much. I understand it's hard to justify delivering new OS version to all those 15 people who bought this stupendously overpriced 2 phones glued together with a hinge, but still, if you charge this much, at least offer better software support than on 200€ phones...

Other oems have updated and are updating to android 12 and Microsoft is giving very bad support for their customers who bought very expensive phone.

So this "visionary device" received Android 11 later than I got Android 12 on my Note 20 Ultra. They went on sale at the same time. This is actually pretty sad.

I'm kinda torn about this news. On one hand, I'm happy to see the first-gen Surface Duo gets an official OS update. However, on the other hand, maybe Microsoft should shift their focus to the massively-improved Surface Duo 2, especially with the new Android 12L OS.
