So that's why we don't see Oppo just start pushing their flagship in to North america market but instead they do it with oneplus .

      so that's why they downgraded the ultrawide sensor, so they can offer last year's ultra wide sensor on the ultra version

Their 3 team-member (BBK Android) ... moreThey run the image processing software algorithms ON dedicated hardware (in this case MariSilicon) to improve the processing speed even further and reduce power consumption. Slightly different example, but it's actually just like how a hardware encoder is almost always faster than a software encoder. The same thing.

              At this point, you really got to ask yourself why you choose either Oppo or OnePlus. Surely, there must be some notable differences between the two. Even though Vivo operates under the same BBK Electronics umbrella as both Oppo and OnePlus, they have their own identity status.

                What a pathetic company. Their 3 team-member (BBK Android) development team cannot even code optimally and needs a chip/NPU to do what needs to be done just using software and computational photography. Truly sad.

                  They'll just add 4 more gigs of RAM and bump up the storage to 512 GB and call it an Ultra model. And the curved screen will become even more curved, because Ultra

                      Poor oppo and one plus.

                      Should ask Vivo for help.
                      Vivo does not turn people and building into wax, then take 7 months to fix what should be fixed before the sales.

                      You can give full frame sensor to both, still gonna look like painting.

                                    Precisely this is another gimmick from OnePlus, they have settled, there's nothing else they can bring to an "ultra" phone except for nicer camera sensors, period.

Probably upgrade will affect cameras, so the design too.. Still dont expect miracles. Current model is not so bad, just bring the UW cam with imx766 back and fix that ridiculous design. Also probably they do want to replace current SD8gen1 with the one baked at TSMC. So it shoudl be like "fixed" version of current release, naming it ultra - meh..

So I would assume OnePlus would be doing something similar. Maybe their first phone with a periscope zoom camera.
