Maybe accept the fact that your eyes aren't as good as you think and other people can actually see the difference.

Olympus Oms, 26 Jan 2022I still don't understand the downgraded ram. S21 ultra... moreHave you used a Galaxy Note? The S-Pen is amazing and came in handy more often than I can remember.
You may not like it but I would take the S-Pen over insane charging speeds any day. I'd even lose a camera sensor to put a pen in my S21U. I miss my S-Pen.

Anonymous, 27 Jan 2022i think 19.5:9 is the sweet spot. but 18.5:9 is still bette... moreRemember, Xperia XA2 Ultra had a 75mm wide screen and that was good for everything. If you make a 19.5:9 screen 75mm wide then that will become huge. For wider screens length should be less, like 2220:1080, 6.7" is a possible measurement but this is not going to happen. Though honor x30 max has done it recently but spec-wise it's not cool. Wish it came with at least a sd778 and Sony IMX766/718

          3700 mAh battery.
          What is samsung thinking?

Kangal, 27 Jan 2022Nah. Either you commit to 21:9 like Sony, and have a phone... moreHave a look at Meizu 16T/16s Pro, no notch, reasonable chin/Forehead and it's s 18.5:9, wider than any other current 6.7 inchers yet it's 6.5" that weighs only 183grams with a 4500mAh battery inside and Meizu batteries are awesome!

I wish the base S22 has a 8/512GB model since there's no expandable storage. The rest of the specs are OK, I can do w/o the 3.5mm jack for now.

Anonymous, 26 Jan 2022The S21 has better battery life than that of the iPhone 13.... moreiPhone 13 has longer battery life in web browsing and video playing than S21 but shorter in talk time and I don't think people talk that much

Anonymous, 26 Jan 202219.5:9 why? Copying Apple will only get you worse. If not 19.5:9 then what's your preference? 18 or 20?

I do not understand the concept of the S22+. Bigger screen(Less PPI), bigger battery, that's it. Wished they made it something more akin to the S21 Ultra in the camera front instead but with a lesser PPI screen of the current S22+. Would have made their product categories more diverse. Wished it was a regular S22, S22+( With Ultra camera), S22 Ultra(Basically the note) instead of what they are offering now.

18.5:9 is the middle of the road between the pathetic 21:9 (unless you only watch cinema movies on it..) and the 16:9 . It's perfect.
Lol the golden mean is often worthless in day to day things. sometimes something is 10:1 and other times its 2:2 depends huh
                                    .

Good call from Samsung they returned from the 20:9 to something more broad .
19:9 would be also very good.

                                      [deleted post]Nah.
Either you commit to 21:9 like Sony, and have a phone that's easier in the hands. Or you go back to the sensible 16:9 aspect ratio. If you have to have a notch/hole, bump it up to 17:9. Anything between 17.5 to 20.5 is an unoptimised display.

                                      Bonus aspect ratio:
is the ISO Standard / iMAX picture, where it is 1: Sqrt/2, this is the "golden ratio" which works best on tablets and laptops. This ratio gives you a perfect image size (think A3 paper, and folding it in half).
