Even when charging its not too hot and many times i dont have time to wait eons to charge my phone.
In this case any super fast or dash charger is way better.
Saw a 166W charger in works and it was brilliant.
Despite what you thinking TIME IS MONEY and this way faster is better.

Not everybody have a whole day time to wait ntil phone chargers from zero to 100% sometimes a phone which a 100W+ charger which tops up your battery in 15 minutes is way better solution.
But apple fans will never understand their phones deplpetes in 2-4 hours watching a movie in a train or plane for example but takes eons to charge its battery .
Samsung is going same way.
Dont see a reason givving a 45W charging ports of there is no charging block in the phone.
Different chargers have different specs and can harm your phone but that samsung logic to give a phone harmfull way to its cuustomers.

Respectfully, I wish you would stop calling the S22 (smallest) the "vanilla" model. It does almost everything that the other models do. Spending close to $1500 for the Ultra might be fine for some because of the few extras you get, but paying close to $1000 for the smaller model isn't vanilla!

I have only ... moreYou say that you prefer slow charging, you can always do that with one of the chargers you have laying around at home. It is certainly recommended for overnight charging. But if your battery is nearly dead and you have only 10 minutes before you need to go out, fast charger will look like a hero.

Given how little difference 45w charging made previously, I'm more concerned whether it will be in the box and will be the only option or as an overpriced accessory..

Not really into this super fast battery craze. I have only 20W on my phone and I find it reasonably fast. Anything faster is really not worth it because of all the compromises it comes with like excessive overheating and reduced battery lifespans, or safety issues, reduced battery capacity, because the cell gets divided to charge fast. I'll wait for solid state batteries before I get into these ultra fast speeds

Hopefully this will not make any cheapo Chinese phones fans seethe, but I have Xperia 5 II and 18W charging is perfectly fine.
I know it's hard to cope when your phone gets unnecessarily bulky and the battery capacity lowered just so the manufacturer can race for the gimmicky 100W+ chargers you almost never realistically need, but on the bright side, at least you can still flex on your other 13 year old friends with how fast your phone can charge, right?

A phone about 900 euro with so less battery...
First Removed earphones then 3.5mm then SD then charger and now pulling battery capacity about %10 down.
And we've seen Shammy increases its profits.
Which means people deserves what they get, I hope Shamesong will sell some day empty boxes to its fans.
I'm sure fanboys will be happy...

Haha 🤣 a must otherwise worse sales would have been recorded even worse than S21 series. Samsung lacks consumers switching to their products because no consumers exciting experience like Chinese products.
