I think storing in the cloud cost money especially on limited broadband and beside there is rain to consider. What if it reins, it will all be washed to the sea. Hahaha just kidding.

As this is the first 1080p handset available in Australia, the crazy price is to be expected: Mobicity generally has the best prices on average for most handsets, but they do tend to get the hottest phones first, and when they do, the premium is huge for the first 1-3 months: it will come down in 3 months to less than $800, and within 6 months may be not much more than $600

I suggest Motorola RAZR HD if you're fine with a 720p screen.
However, if you want a 1080p screen, you should wait for Sony Xperia Z.

Still on my Galaxy Nexus. Would love to upgrade if there is a phone that can last more than a day of heavy usage. Still see no points in upgrading to higher specs if the phone dies within half a day.

no beats audio! GG htc you managed to fail once again! not to forget the battery issuses the last phone had (htc X one) who became htc x one + with better battery then make the same misstake again with the new flag chip.

HTC's only purpouse is to be first with the "new generation" spcifications they missin out on the big picture.

they need some proper help with this from what i can see.

the only problem is the battery size
2020 mAh for this beast looks ridiculous.

This is the best mobile ever made by HTC. If Europe were not going through this financial crisis, HTC has reportedly sold the Butterfly earlier. But the markets and the sales numbers speak louder than customer satisfaction. In Australia cost AUD 849 but in Portugal (more precisely) will cost more than € 1,000 (or USD 1307.07) so do not be scandalized by cost so much.
                                  Cumpz to everyone!

It is nearly $900 with only 16GB and also it is not 4G compatible with any carriers in Australia..

The phone advertised on MobiCity is the HTC X920e butterfly which is the 3g varient made for China without 4g capability but their UK site shows the normal 4g butterfly.
