So I have to turn my phone in at work, at a party, or the prison and when I come back for it, I get asked "what color is it?" And I reply "I don't know". ???

Pumpino, 02 Feb 2022200 trials before finding the right formula of materials? T... moreI'm sure they just lie to make us impressed. Where's the proof of that "200", that's just number to fooling us. Rather spend money at "color" why realme dont spend money to hired designer for make new phones, I mean just look at gt neo2, gt 2 pro, gt 2, 9i, now this 9 pro and 9 pro+ looks same.

        ... and then you put a $4 hard case, matte-black or vivid-gray.

200 trials before finding the right formula of materials? Tens of thousands of dollars in wages and materials wasted for experimentation that could have been diverted to software engineers to provide more timely updates. Pretty colours sell more phones though...

And what's the use of this? Will this make the phone faster, last longer, or take better pictures? Anyway 9 of 10 people are using a case, so just another gimmick, just like expandable RAM and 2 MP cameras... But instead they are removing really cool options like microSD, audio jack, infrared and so on. I am pretty sure were will be some kind of persons who will defend all this shenanigans.

Realme loves hyping things. It's a pity that half of their phones don't make it to the European market (when they do it's only limited configuration options) and even fewer get to the UK.
