zillion, 10 Feb 2022Samsung never win the camera phones rank, since huawei P30 ... moreI agree, I suspect the latest Huawei and Xiamoi phone cameras will just have the edge over the S22U.
I'm a current Huawei user but would never get another one without all the google services.
I'm happy to be going back to Samsung. They seem to have really stepped up their software and updates over the past few years.

DAD, 10 Feb 2022Its 2022, they still use 8gb ram. My Note 20 Ultra already ... moreWhat are you talking about? I have the Note 20 Ultra and it's lighting fast. I never experienced a stutter and I had it for over a year now. If you experience any problems, it's definitely some kind of error and it's not normal. Take your phone to a service center.

CCE, 10 Feb 2022So any opinion, should I buy it or not?No because
-maybe S23 Ultra will have under-display camera, which would change front design for first time since Note10/S10
Yes because
-This is the big daddy of smartphones
-No guarantee they will keep in-built S-Pen for S23 Ultra, they might just give it exclusively to the Fold if S22 Ultra sales are not as high as they want

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2022It is proven A7iii does better.
Also, there are some 4/3 ... more"Some 4/3 larger than FF sensors' ?????!!!!
Come on, you must be joking right? I hope you are, otherwise, you'd better get you eyes checked!
The size of a 4/3 sensor is 18 mm × 13.5 mm, a FF is 24 mm x 36 mm.
I bet you didn't like Mathematics at school...

Anonymous, 10 Feb 2022Huawei P50 series is an early 2021 phone, so ... duh?!
J... moreI wanted the mi 11 ultra last year but Australia got no stock. Reviews consistently said a great camera but poor battery, the UI is pretty clunky plus its very top heavy and ugly.
Ive ended up ordering the 512gB s22 ultra today. Will keep my much loved xiamoi mate 20 x as a spare.

rizki1, 10 Feb 2022Someone talking about RAM on this phone, yes 18GB for what?... moreiOS keeps a tight control on what runs on the background, Android doesn't. While Android's way of keeping background services, receivers, and alarms run in the background is open, it gives developers the control to make apps like Tasker which you cannot possibly find on iOS. Freedom is liberty, I believe. And Android trusts that developers would be responsible while making use of the freedom. Sometimes it does wonders, sometime it just messes with the system. There are ways to kill such an app through OS and OS is the sole decision maker in that regard.
Moreover, Apple vertically integrates its devices which means it has a tight grip down to the level of materials used in a component. That means Apple can freely optimize their hardware for software and their software for hardware. Google can do that to some extent with Nexus devices (that's why they outperform current Android flagship and iPhones too).

rizki1, 10 Feb 2022Someone talking about RAM on this phone, yes 18GB for what?... moreBecause iOS Multitasking's organization is different from Android, iOS will shut down every app when you open other app and then it will do this if you open another app again and again. It will just open and close fast applications, iOS doesn't use more than one or two app per time. Android devices will keep opened all the apps instead. This is the reason for the big amount of RAM on Note Devices and all the other top devices. If you want more details, ask me those!
