Since the battery life is just few hours this doesnt much matter.
Any casio for 5 bucks showing date and time last several weeks or months on a single charge. 400 eur watch made by Samsung cant compete here.
For anything else phone does its job pretty well no need for wearables.

Samsung is a bit pricier if you just compare the paper specs but it's things like these that make the difference more than worth it.

software update is always welcome but, I don't like wearOS in general due to insufficient battery life. it is no better than watchOS.

Apple fans won't like this news. One of the few major factors they have against android fans is getting its pace almost caught up. When Samsung or Google finalises the seamless sync across its platforms, apple's value will drop significantly. Already android inclines on smooth experience.
