I think ASUS has made a mistake of going with flipkart as their official online seller.
Not been able to purchase rog phone 5 from flipkart thanks to erratic availability (128gb version does not meet my requirements) since its launch.. phone 5 pro is still on coming soon status!!
Would love to have more offline stores to purchase these phones.

Techfun, 10 Feb 2022Dumping their left over stock to favourite dumping ground India Still, a better choice than OnePlus RT and Scamsung S21 FE, if gaming is your main focus (also if you're an audiophile). I mean there's no competition here, nobody launched a phone with 888+ in India, so Asus kept on milking Rog 5 till the end. Only thing to see is how many Android updates will it get, since it'll probably launch with A11.
Thankfully they didn't launch Zenfone 8 at this point. It would be pretty disappointing to get it after an eternity.

and in couple of months they will launch the new one, just wasting people's time and money and knowing how indians think, they'd rather wait few months than to waste both.
