You can install Linux on ANY DEVICE, including devices with Intel processors and it runs well actually. Intel is doing GREAT with their 12 gen desktop and mobile since AMD is giving them competition(so well that I actually tried AMD for the first time and they are pretty good CPUs and GPUs). Also, you don't have to stick with...ahem..."Wintel". You can choose AMD OR Qualcomm. YES QUALCOMM because they also make processors for Windows tablets as well and they are coming out with a new generation of that processor to compete with Apple's M1.         Are we talking about Windows tablets or are we talking about Intel? Again there are AMD windows tablets out there. Even some of them are 2 in 1 which means they already have the keyboard attached so you don't have to waste an extra $200 on a significantly inferior and cheaply made keyboard that works half the time.

        When It comes to phones, It MUST BE ANDROID(or you're not into phone since it's hip and cool to hate Apple, even though IMO Apple iOS is more refined and that's coming from some who has the pleasure of using Android since the HTC EVO 4G WiMAX. I had a total of 8 android phones and 2 iPhones, iPhone 3GS, and currently an iPhone 12 Pro Max).

        On tablets, if you're actually a professional, you would not be looking at Android. PERIOD. Android does not offer anything that Windows already has. NONE of the apps on Android tablets are polished nor powerful enough to do actual work on the go. You can play TRUE AAA games on Windows without using an app or if you want to, YOU CAN. You can decide if you want to use the touchscreen or not because windows have a tablet mode. Android doesn't have a Desktop Mode(and Samsung doesn't count). Also, you can sideload ANDROID APPS on Windows. and play those same mobile games! Windows can do EVERYTHING that Android can and can't do. PERIOD

Apple ACTUALLY(for once) putting effort to make an awesome device. Touch-based experience on iPad(and iPhone) are second to none. If Android is great, then why does Google have alternative OSes (Chrome OS and soon to REPLACE Android(and Chrome OS), Fuchsia OS, which my IMO is a retaliation of when Apple decides to combine macOS with iPadOS) when Android can do EVERYTHING?*

            I already explained why android wins the software race. You can install Linux on it and have desktop versatility without forsaking touch based user interaction when you need to use your tablet as something less than a workhorse.

            Did say that Apple has the better touch based apps, but its complete lack of the capacity to install a legacy OS side by side negates the alight advantage of gets from its better apps (in pro use)

              1st to offer desktop performance on mobile (M1 on ipad).
              Still far from matched BTW

              1st to do away with bezels, granted they had to add the ugly notch, but nobody before them good tuck away the chin as well as everything else (apart from the Notch). Since everyone followed.

              1st to do away w any type of port other than the charging one. Everyone else followed.

              While it so true that they do some things last, in others they are the first. They are much like the rest of the OEM, first in some , not in others.

              How the changed is that they do not launch new product lines every other year. That was -sort of- Job's specialty. Ever since they're basically milking Jobs' product lines for a decade plus.

              Only new product line they actually introduced was the smartwatch (the wireless head/earphones are merely an amelioration of what they already had)

                        The question is never notch or not. The question is bezel vs notch (basically a smaller bezel). They are both bezels, one goes all the way and the other doesn't. Most of us hate bezels, speak for yourself that simpletons prefer more screen estate. Screen real estate is literally the point of these devices and you want to minimize it by swapping the bezel with a full bezel.

                          I would not buy another GTab. Compared to the iPad Pro, the Tab is inferior. The productivity apps on the iPad are far better, the screen is better, the iPad just feels polished. For the same price, there is no comparison.

Kickass hardware (not on Apple's level but extremely close), kickass software (again not as good in touch based environment as apple but close, actually better than Wintel because you can easily install Linux which kills anything Windows based).

                              GSMARENA doesn't has the correct information regarding Samsung's Tab S8 Ultra display. Actually and officially it was said by the Samsung company it self that the S8 Ultra display is a Super Amoled on unveiling the product. So GSMArena is declaring the Tab S8 Ultra's display as Dynamic Super Amoled 2x!
