... and finally we will see a graphics performance that will surpass PS3 and XBox 360. They have come up with this argument every year since the introduction of Nvidia Tegra chipset.

24p is the cinematic standard, so 30fps would be more than enough ... (24- 24fps on display )
normally 24p gives the best, most natural light when dealing with moving objects or refresh rates (water, screens, light bulbs, and so on ... )

Mesmere, 08 Jan 2013Thats because exynos chipset have better battery efficiency... moreNo, you can say it like that. It could be a software optimization or some sort. To test the real capabilities, both phone should run the same Rom, i.e CM10, get them tested. That way we'll know who's the real champ

Anonymous, 08 Jan 20134k still not possible with 800 i see.. 30fps is horrible. For videos it's more than enough considering satellite tv channels broadcasts their materials at 25fps, but gaming on that resolution even on small screen will never be lag-free.

Mesmere, 08 Jan 2013Qualcomm snapdragon 800 vs Nvidia tegra 4 vs Exynos 5450.
... moreCan tegra 4 even reach 2Ghz?
I think Snapdragon 800 is way faster than tegra 4 the gimmick, and it may even crush exynos 5 just like what happened last year with exynos 4.

Awww, darn. They should have announced it last year on December. So by the looks of it, I'm guessing better smartphones and tablets running Snapdragon 800 will appear some time around Q3-2013.
Awwwwwww...

Improvement in speeding up in all aspects, speedy consumption of battery charge,
how much speed you need after recording and playback of hd videos ? is the phone going to fly taking with you ?
same goes with os updates, what they do. just more and more code, more memory required and each new minor functionality cost about gb of data and processing load and overall low performance of device, even battery.
update or optimization should be of using less resource by finding ways to reduce codes, they need to put research in this.
same with power consumption, they need to make better and better design to reduce loss of power and longer duration with same specs. this is upgrading. upgrading of resources and claiming better performance is not upgrading but worst management of utilization of source.
so actually it's same like having stones, sand and water to put in one jar but if poured it wrongly could result in no space left for other.
