I'm pretty certain the zoom is 3 x optical with 5 x hybrid as opposed to the 5 x optical this article claims?

Probably skip, X5 and X5 Pro more interested in the Ultra versions. I hope this collaboration with hasselblad it's not just software, I hope they uses their lenses as well. The Vivo x70 Pro plus cameras was excellent.

It'll be going against their own ISP on the pro model with probably the same main sensors so will be interesting to see if the marisilicon on the pro performs much better than the dimensity 9000 on the non pro

e.g. Huawei also invented the so called night mode, that every other company copied. Huawei was class leading in the camera department since the P20 series.
On that point the find x3 pro camera performance of Oppo was really top notch last year.
