This is a slab phone. The design won't change much. Just like a PC from 2022 looks practically identical to a PC from 2015. The internals are however very different.

abasu007, 16 Feb 2022Think those people are using the old 45w charger….Correct, they aren't using the new T4510 charger so we will have to wait for new comparisons after the new 45w charger has been released.

Anonymous, 16 Feb 2022Same phone as last year, slightly better SoC and integrated... moreI guess you forgot about the S6-S7 S8-S9. They looked the same basically. 🤷‍♂️

Same phone as last year, slightly better SoC and integrated pen (instead of a free floating one).

Wow, Samsung, you are breaking new ground!

(Seriously, phones' release schedule should slow down to once every two years. No meaningful changed year to year. Better a well crafted new phone every two year, instead of rushed release each year, as if we are dealing with NBA 2k series here).

It will be interesting to see the difference between Exynos and Snapdragon in S22s.

An0n, 16 Feb 2022Agreed. The no camera island? Couldn't you do better S... moreX5 Pro looks horrible. It's like X3 Pro that you forgot on the sun too long and it melted a bit in one corner. S22 Ultra cameras look fine, but they have the same problem as Mi11 Ultra or Pixel 6 camera island. The sharp corners are horrible dust collectors.

Please, do not forget to mention screen flickering issues, like pixel 6 pro had.

Look at Oppo with their gorgeous camera island in x3 pro, and then continued to x5 pro. Samsung response is like, "meh, we don't need that, let's get lazy"

According to the various comparisons that I have looked at for 2 days, the S22U is much less good in autonomy than the S21U and the 45w charger is useless: we gain 3 minutes compared to the 25W of the S21U. It looks like it actually only delivers 28W. Samsung continues to mock its customers, since Huawei is out of the race....
