Would be possible to install on this phone an x86 desktop OS, like Windows XP, 7 or 8?
That would be awesome, but difficult to control without a stylus. However, a solution would be to use the touchscreen like a laptop's touchpad, with mouse cursor, as in TeamViewer for Android.

Good phone design is really nice if it has a good battery then it is a real competitor . This is the best design of 2013 so far . I would prefer this over sony x peri a z

Again as I have been stressing all the other OEMS are trying to compete with just high specs which all are more or less evenly matched. What is that special thing that sets them apart. This is what samsung eealize thus why they keep putting more ans more features in their UI. And different ways of using the phone.
Agree or deny but that is the reason why samsung is the most dominate Android OEM with thier galaxy phone line.

TIZEN devices will be launched in Q3, 2013 so 3 flagships this year, not 1(as you say) n sales of 2012 can speak that 2013 will be much better for samsung... even they've came out from their mistakes, as their midranged n tablets were not that great n were overpriced but samsung is doin great job now... dont forget 7" note tablet that will make huge count...

It will not just pop up from nowhere.by the time s4 will come out there will be more new phones to be announced. HTC is just around the corner, sony has been progressing impressive, Lenovo now is like wow, and samsung has announced many midrange that even samsung fans cant even bear to look at. And they are planning to ship 510million of those. It's gonna be too late if s4 will come out on Q4 or 2014.

Phones thats a big *maybe* you do realize these are 2013 flagships. Samsung has yet to release or even announce any of its 2013 flagships yet.
And in terms of usability and features, no one yet can match the Note 2.
However the lenovo seem to have a premium build and look

All those announced unit like grand, s2plus, etc are not in consideration for next gen smartphones. Those 510million unit to be shipped by samsung may not come to realization. Competition is tight, plastic is out.
