By the looks of people's feedback about every new Pixel phones, it seems like my MIUI device has much less software bugs than Google's own stock Android software, and this is already coming from a software skin that's notoriously known for having many bugs among other Android software skins.

One thing Google really needs to update is the mute button while on a call. Its so sensitive and I am continuously hitting it while on the phone. It also auto mutes when it senses a drag from the top which can also be done by my ear accidentally.

Did Google tested the Pixel phones really well before launching? Pity the Pixel users that inadvertently became the beta testers for Google.

As for testing, lol, I don't think Chinese manufacturers have this word in their vocabulary. The end customer will test the phones, obviously. The ones that end up to be somehow good, have a life expectancy of 2 years in the current market (meaning the producer will invest in that particular model more or for longer period). The rest, forgotten after 6 months.

Even though the mentality of the people is still Czech, because of the country, everybody follows the procedures and guidelines of the mother company (which is American). The big things that we need to implement and follow comes from the mother company in America.
If you think Apple is the same as Xiaomi, just because they both have their factories in China, you obviously don't have a clue how a multinational company is organized and how it is functioning.

I got this update on a Samsung S20 Ultra this morning.

This must have been a major security problem to be patched midway through the month.

Hopefully fixes the ongoing call chip ... being that I make between 30 - 60 calls per day, this is indeed something I miss

Asus, Sony and HTC are the active brands that still haven't promised more than 2 Android version updates.

"Cheap chinese brands" I don't know what brands you are referring to, but if they make "cheap" phones then it makes sense that they aren't supported for very long. Google makes so- called "premium" products, so obviously people expect something better. Get it?

I just read this and the update is coming, this is where the pixels pay off and if I wanted to I could have android 13 right now, something that others won't see until later this year
