I mean honestly, "durable" and "light"? Why do you think aircraft use metal instead of plastic? Plastic is too flimsy, and in order to get the proper amount of tensile strength from it you have to add a ton of extra plastic. Metal doesn't require the same amount of thickness as plastic in order to have the same amount of durability. The difference in weight is negligible when you have the same amount of durability.
A plastic back will compress under the weight of a dropped phone. This may help soften the impact of a phone on its corners, however, compressing plastic along the middle section of the back will only make the display more likely to break. If their goal was honestly durability instead of cheaping out, they would only use plastic on the corners of the phone.

Same like the people with the need of sd card slot. If these 2 things phones dont have then it's instantly complaining is needed. It's like any of the brands R&D would read comments in this site to care. Also to care about your complaining who will never support these brands anyways

Metal what ever it is is more expensive and makes the phone more heavier. Also plastic absorb impact better then metal on dropping as it's more flexible

Your not some kind of professional who is testing every phone in the market and talk about quality. Quality for pretty much every phone in the market is same. Mostly these budget phones have more features and better quality to earn trust from customers then the well known brands who have fan base who just need the brand over quality.
Never mind that pretty much no other known brand make any rugged phones and when they do then these are garbage low end specs with no special features to them and the rugged looks just like a case on the phones.
The brands you mentioned are pretty much only brands who make rugged phones for the market. Also Helio G96 is decent chip for the people who need these rugged phones for work cause of there features. These phones are not made for the market that is for the people who seek performance for gaming. Also these phones are not made for the market that seek flagship chip with best camera.
