For a couple of reasons you guaranteed that your cell phone will work everywhere because not everyone lives in the city, guaranteed to have compatibility with all three major cell phone carriers. And those other phones you mentioned are not FCC certified.

lol, edge 30 pro is available in India at $600 launch price (otherwise $666), but ppl in america probbaly dont care bcuz they buy on contracts anywya

The offering of a Verizon variant is disheartening. The Edge + offered only through Verizon had wireless charging will that also be the case here? Will the Verizon version get Gorilla Glass but the other version sold to the US will not and the list goes on.
