Unfortunately, Digital chat station said that the main camera is actually a 1/1.7 not a 1/1.3, and it's actually just a imx 686 with better autofocusing and better cross talking between the pixels

Not to forget that almost all good features that make in way to iPhones are first seen in Android phones several years earlier. And their fans be like "apple did not copy it, they refined it" haha. How lame is that
Wireless charging, high resolution, led display, faster charging, high refresh rates, bigger batteries, more RAM and storage, better designs, better cameras, better software features, USB C, punch hole, under display camera, under display fingerprint scanner, etc the list goes on. All these are the features that apple took several years or will take decades from now to put into their phones, while most other flagship phones today already have them all. So the excuse that, "Apple refined it" might work but except for blind apple fans, no one else will believe it

The Nubia z20 and z30 both won German design awards, and also feel perfect in the hand (very ergonomic unlike a certain hand cutting fruit company).
Their current pricing is amazing! Back to the nubia z9, z11, z18 pricing, What a steal for 512 and 1TB !

One thing to note is that, due to a narrow 35mm equivalent lens, this phone's main camera captures the highest amount of light per field of view among any smartphones out there, even beating out the likes of X70 Pro+ or Mi 11 Ultra.

Cyberchum, 26 Feb 2022iOS phones stand no chance of holding claim on a design lan... moreExisting and being a trend are two very separate things. What happens every single time Apple does something? Well, everyone copies them, in good or bad. I'd say Apple is a trend setter if everyone keeps copying them almost every single time. What trend have Android phone makers set? I really can't think of anything significant. Folding phones? Hardly a trend when they are exclusive to 1500€ devices and most people still can't really find a good use for foldable tablets. And it's not really a trend, it's just a device type. I'd call underdisplay selfie cam as "Android phone trend" if phone makers weren't flip flopping around it so inconsistently where at one point it was all the rage for like 3 months and then the whole thing just died off. One phone has it and next doesn't, it's kind of awkward, inconsistent and not really a trend, it was just first attempt that proved to be highly problematic one way or the other. Either there was annoying square or badly obscured circle still visible on top of display and in all cases selfie shots were terrible. So, no, not a trend everyone would suddenly follow. Or it was and it was super short lived one...

If it was a very large sensor they would typically advertise it so it's probably just a rebranded imx686 like you mentioned

Android OEMs have brought way more designs than Apple could dream of. Apple sued Samsung for curved edges when multitude of phones with curved edges had existed and were existing before they entered the phone market with the iPhone. Joke!

GSMArena, where did ZTE ever say that the sensor size for the main camera is 1/1.3 inch? They don't mention the sensor size anywhere on the release note nor on the marketing materials at all, and I'm starting to think the main sensor is just a rebranded (or a slightly improved version of) IMX686, which is 1/1.7 inch large diagonally.
