Siri moved to mostly local operation and neural recognition of text on images, even local ones is "nothing"? Not only phones from just few years ago weren't capable of this, they didn't even have this at all. And thanks to how everyone treats Android like the last thing in the world, never will unless you buy a whole new phone that will have the latest shiny Android preinstalled.

Apple is slowly adding certain features and when you have so many years of updates, I don't care if I don't have something this very moment, I'll get it eventually (not that I need anything in particular other than minor "convenience grade" features. Opposed to Android where most features were added 10 years ago and no one has touched them since, which means most of them are broken, designed with mentality and usability from a decade ago and just aren't all that great despite being a ticked checkbox on the list of features.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2022How monumentally clueless and out of touch are you? You... moreApple does have longer SW support, but that's simple when you sell pretty much the same device only with HW upgrades and no software features for ages. Personally I'm more than fine with 5 years of updates, I never even had a phone for 5 years be it a smartphone or a dumb phone. People who care about software updates never have their phones for 8 years so enjoy those 8 years of updates when you will have to change the battery 3 times for insane prices and the phone will barely manage to load a simple app by that time. Samsung is far from perfect but their support (not just SW support but tech support, too) is dominant in the industry and provide incredible options like 24/7 chat, diagnostic tools or a tech guy connecting to your phone when you want and checking what's wrong. I would never want Apple's difficult and inaccessible even though long support because I will never ever have one phone for 8 years.

I'm so disappointed with my GS22+. My GS22+ was superior in every way. I don't like the flat screen, the new aspect ratio, the thickness of the phone, the battery life is awful out the box, the phone is buggy with some of my apps, the camera quality is inferior (don't know how this is possible given the specs, trust me I took pics of my kids and they're not just blurry, they're deformed). I'm at upset and don't know what to do.

And boy the experience is like night and day compared to pathetic Android support. The way 99,99% of Android phone makers treat Android support is beyond word "sad". But keep patting yourself on the back for literally defending all the phone makers treating you like you're worthless the moment you carry the phone out the store...

Samsung is just faster at downloading the stuff from repository and actually delivering those updates to the owners of Samsung phones. As simple as that.

They always push the update on fifth of every month. Samsung needs to send this update quick. Because they have to fix some bugs before the release date, and if they send this update, they put the security update as well , so they don't have to send another update later.
