If you use the 360 model good luck using these devices without the bezzel and touching the screen all the time. I have the 1st gen and yeah it is necessary.

can't believe they didn't change the design for the 2nd gen. that bottom bezel looks 2017ish to me. if the 3rd gen gets a dell xps look then i'll consider...

If the 360 had the better graphics card I'd get one. Maybe they'll do a refresh at some point equalising the graphics performance between the models.

Tbh, if Samsung sells their laptop worldwide, they might be able to beat a few other laptop manufacturers, given by the specs and price point

Ind, 01 Mar 2022Samsung doesn't release their laptops in India for som... moreSamsung is still in the laptop market for the same reason Sony still produces phones; they just want to keep that going rather than become a juggernaut.
Samsung can never supplant the Big 6, so it's silly to compete in a price-sensitive market like India. HP, Lenovo, and Asus will beat whatever Samsung puts out in the Indian market at a lower price.
That said, I use an LG Gram. I'm tempted to get a Samsung laptop as I have a Samsung phone, tablet, and will be getting their OLED TV. But there's no implicit benefit really beside the badge.

Samsung doesn't release their laptops in India for some weird reason. They will completely dominate the market if they launch

For smartphones Samsung is the king but for laptops go for Dell/Asus/HP/Lenovo.

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2022What’s up with that bottom bezel frcommon for 16:9, it creates a bezel because otherwise the keyboard and trackpad wouldn't fit, and also gives less of the useful vertical space. Only advantage is for watching widescreen videos, but imo 16:9 is just not made for the laptop form factor. 16:10, maybe even 3:2 is better. Apple never used 16:9 on a laptop, they used 4:3 before switching to 16:10, now they went taller again with 15.5:9 on the new MacBook Pros. And with using taller displays, they were just as right as using glossy displays.

Anonymous, 28 Feb 2022If there is a similarly specced HP should I go for Samsung or HPThese Samsung are very thin and light, more than HP ones in the same category, on the other hand HP convertible are usually a bit more robust due to the thickness and less flex on the hinges .
