Been doing it for years now and never once have I gotten a virus ! Plus I have super fast internet so I can download a 20gig 4k movie in well under 10 minutes. The main advantages are picture quality is always better then any streaming service and choice. Meaning the 3 main sites I use always have the latest movies and tv episodes from Disney, Netflix, Hulu whatever ! The best part is I use Plex Media Server (it's free) to stream all my content from my computer to my home theatre system via wifi. Also if I leave my computer on I can go just about anywhere and access my Plex account on any smart tv ! It's like having my own personal Disney+ that doesn't cost a cent and with no adds🤠👍 !!!

For that reason you have no choice just to be doomed by tons of pages ads malware and bloatware that spits on you if you want or needs to enter.
Good example is w ww.hokage.cz where i was usualy waching tons of great animes like Naruto, Boruto, Arcane by league of Legends, Death Note and many else.
Videos are free to watch but if yu block ads you are not allowed to watch anything.

Maybe, the reason why the customer is leaning more and more towards ad supported services, are that the services are too little, and you have to sign up to so many of them to get a full coverage, that it then costs too much?

Save yourselves the money and just download Stremio. No ads, has pretty much every show, movie, anime, documentary most of em in incredible quality if your Internet is good enough.

There's apps called Peacock and Pluto TV that's free but has ads everywhere. I don't see the big deal with this since so many of us use YouTube full of ads if it's not Premium.
It doesn't affect me. I use Piratebay to download my Disney+ and HBO Max content.

Then what's the point in the 5$ plan? If I'm getting ads. I wouldn't pay TO HAVE ads...
I'd use the 8$ plan.

When you buy an ad on TV, it costs a lot of money because of the reach it has. One streaming service doesn't have much of a reach and impact when it comes to ads so they're cheap and are not enough to pay for blockbuster movies.

499 per year ($6.54) - you will get lot of ads with limited content availability
899 per year ($11.8) - You will be getting all the content except some sports with ads
1499 per year ($20) - No restrictions, Truly ad free
