Even Snapdragon 720G is good unless you are heavy gamer. My A52 works well. So 778G will be enough. I will wait until A55.

Anonymous, 07 Mar 2022You must be jokingAnd you clearly did not understand my comment because compared to A52s, A73 has 5000mAh, a bit nicer display, better camera and if they include 25w charger brick in a box that would be great too.
To me it is because of the battery, A52s doesn't really have a great battery life so A73 may show a better result.

JURE 75, 07 Mar 2022Why not 12mp telephoto? : ( Only reason for buying a73 is ... moreS21 FE also has 8MP tele. So I would not expect 12 MP telephotos (3x) on mid rangers any time soon.

Now this would be a great upgrade over my Galaxy A52s 5G, if A73 would have Snapdragon 778G.

I hope they dont forgot about Samsung dex .

JURE 75, 07 Mar 2022Why not 12mp telephoto? : ( Only reason for buying a73 is ... moreI think the 8 MP one is the telephoto, the leak was kind of vague. But the A72 cameras are 64 MP main, 12 MP ultra wide and 8 MP telephoto.

Few things: First where is successor of A80 with rotating camera???
Second: Where is successor of A90 with SD8XX cpu.
Third if noone of above is comming why SD778 they should add SD865 or so.
A53 would cost 470 initial price at which Nubia red magic 7 sells a lot better device same goes for redmi K50 and many else phones which cost up to 500 and offers specs of a 700-1000 eur device.
Being the litterary same like A52S 5G with just a little bit better CPU on paper but in real life equally fast than any 300 eur device from most brands makes no sense to me.
                  Just sayin.

                    Why not 12mp telephoto? : (
Only reason for buying a73 is tele cam (for me)
And I Will not buy it, if Will be only 8mp

It will be good if Samsung will stop this 4G and 5G double models releasing's.
I don't know who started this "trend", but is not ok for the customers. Just make them all 5G phones and if somebody doesn't want or doesn't have 5G in their areas, they can use 4G. Easy.
There is already a crowded phone market. Not to mention they give some nice things to the 4G variant and other nice things to the 5G variant. Making it even harder for people to choose the correct variant.

Might as well get the a52s. You get almost the same phone but with a headphone jack and (probably) a lower price

I am skipping any phones this year. Its obvious they are all overprices due to pandemic.

I hope it gets priced well, I want one alongside my 11T pro.

Galaxy A73 SD778G awesome but price?
