Ha! I'd love to see what are the china brands lovers going to say about this now.
I despise PrisonOS, but I admit that it's well build for regular users, the entire ecosystem really works, and the materials used are top quality (or at least that's how it feels in the hands).
But I still prefer Android for it's flexibility, customizations and of course for being open-source.

The camera algorithm is an oversharpening neon-color mess who makes pictures look like artificial renders with fake detail, no real resolution at all. OS a matter of taste? Not really, iOS is a closed ecosystem, doesn't play nice with other systems, the usual apple way. Anti-consumer everything. Their BT stack doesn't even support Hi-Res audio codecs like LDAC or LHDC.. Everyone getting lured in cloud and expensive internal-memory options, even though a cheap sd card would be enough to put old media files on. Can't even install apps without some controlled store.. iOS lacks a lot for tech savy people who want to use an OS their own way. Sadly, a lot of android brands follow suit with similar anti consumer trends, because most people really just have low demands on how versatile they could use their pocket computer...so they can get away with it. Shows most people just use their phone as a toy for a little bit of cheap AI photoshots with fake bokeh, and social media. I bet just 50% go by looks alone. So all the girls use the toyish apple design as it looks so soft and child-friendly, with rounded corners everywhere. Makes them feel "safe", as most don't feel tech savy. Real tools for men and professionals on the other hand would have sharp edges and straight lines. With lots of features and qualities. Form follows function. There is the crippled down S22U at least, but there should be way more for real tech people.

                Also iPhone have gimmicks? :D it’s all the Android phones that puts out gimmicks no-one need or use just that they have something new to offer because it’s really hard to stand out from Android market where everyone sells more or less the same phone.

                Apple have lot to afford, only compact flagship phone in the market, best overall hardware in the market, by far best ecosystem in the market, very long support, OS is just matter of taste, but like the sales shows, more and more people prefer iOS, but most people are forced to buy Android phone, because Apple doesn’t have $200 iPhone. But like the sales shows, more and more who are willing to pay more for they phone tend to choose iPhone and it’s polished very well thought experience.

Despite showing them the result of Google search that their iPhones are made in China, still one of them insisted that her iPhone is made in Pennsylvania while the other one, upon realization that her iPhone was made in China, wanted to sell it in order to buy a Xiaomi phone probably due to better specs. Last week, another friend of mine ask me what phone to buy with his budget around Php20,000 ($400). I suggested him 4 phones to choose, namely: Samsung A52s, Realme GT Master Edition, Poco F3, and Poco X3 GT together with their pros and cons. Ultimately, he bought the Samsung A52s 5G. He would not have asked me what phone to buy if he knew something about smartphones.
