Just that 32gb was introduction..
Mid range does not exist it is just YouTube virtual reality.. Ram amount is just an gimmick because it is cheap.. But speed matters.. If for example 6gb ram is faster than 32gb one then it will be better.
It's not about quantity but quality

I would have rather bought a 6-12 months old iPhone 12 Pro at the same price. With 12 months warranty and battery health around 95%. Still better than iPhone 13 mini in every way.
