Xiaomi is not big enough to offer everything everywhere. It will take time. It certainly filled the gap Huawei ban has created though. But they need to work on software in large amount. Not upto the mark. Same phone on custom rom works on another level.

Malaysia just approved 2 new model from POCO, F4 GT (21121210G) and F4 pro (22011211G). I can only view the approved certification info.

Snapdragon 870? OK, I was a little worried we'd see an F4 with 888 this year but I feel vindicated in buying an F3 a couple of months ago. Still a wicked device for the price.

I already have a SD870 phone. I was hopping for a SD888. Also, why the 4400mah battery?
Realme GT Neo 2 looks much better than this. If they will price Poco F4 below 350EUR, it will be nice, otherwise will not be worth it. At 380EUR you can have the Xiaomi 11T (8Gb/128Gb variant), which is the most all around phone from Xiaomi right now (even the camera is nice).

I am hoping to retire my trusty F1. Its still going string, but its starting to show its age now.
The 870 chipset is okay, but could be better.
Hoping for a good camera, great battery life and as all Poco fans a cheap price, not a fan of these 1000$ price tags.

Why would they use the ancient Snapdragon 870? What’s the point? It was the same SoC in the Poco F3, for crying out loud.
Come on, Qualcomm! Release a Snapdragon 870 successor already! I’m expecting a rebranded Snapdragon 888, with better heat management.

Ahmedolx, 10 Mar 2022so which better Dimensity 8100 or Dimensity 9000Early tests show that if you care about battery efficiency with great performance as well, then 8100. It's very frugal with SD888 levels of power. Dimensity 9000 targets SD8Gen1 and is also more efficient than the Qualcomm SoC, but not more than 8100.

And what about price?
I ho... moreThe Poco F4 Pro receiving the D9000 chip hints a 450-500 dollar price tag. However, I'd have liked a 350-400 dollar price tag.
Honestly, my expectations are just better waterproofing. Otherwise, the Dimensity chip will be a perfectly okay upgrade.
