I say we'd also get the flat frame next year, but I'm just saying.

It's ok for the price. But certainly not for me. It packs some impressive performance, but i don't really game on phones so who cares, camera seems ok, but everything else is from 2018. I would rather get something better and more modern looking for media consumption with a bigger battery, but lower benchmark scores.

Nearly 80% not vote for a phone which is $200 to me. Says it all.
No full screen.
No 8k P50/60 12 bit 4:2:2 h266, and pro res.
No external recording solution or extra control buttons.
No Mac OS desktop mode, or USB 4 video out for virtual glasses for desktop mode out and about. Again, no external USB storage options. No second port.
No OLED.
No 3D.
Gaming potential.
Linux app box.
No external Bluray ultra hd USB hook up, or TV tuners.
Another Apple.
We stopped thinking of buying Apple, as they took all the good stuff away. Now what option do we have. MS has so much data, and android, it's a real struggle to go to Apple.
Have an SE, need a better upgrade.

Even with this vote results, probably a lot of people will still buy this model of iPhone. This will make Apple to continue releasing this iPhone in the future. Which is wrong, they stopped producing the nice looking iPhone Mini series and they continue to release this outdated design.
But anyway, small phones are always inferior to the bigger variants. Performance wise, battery wise, heating dissipation wise. They look nice (in the case of the Mini's) and they sit good in the hand, but that's about it for pluses.

In my country (Indonesia) iPhone SE 2022 would have the same price with Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.
I guess in 2022 there would be so many new samsung owner.

I don't even know why Apple fans like talking about trade in price. The worst thing you can do is sell your phone because it's so easy to data mine these things even when you think it's factory reset.

Anonymous, 14 Mar 2022People, just get the iPhone 13, it costs as much as a decen... moreLol, the trade-in value is good only if you get quality A for it. For quality B or C is ok, and for quality D you get small price for it.
Example from my country: iPhone 12 new (660€). Trade-in quality A (480€), quality B or C (420€), quality D (200€). In all cases the phone should be fully functional with no technical problems. The difference in quality is given by the looks, not the functionality (that means scratches, hits, etc.). And they are pretty picky. Just a very very small scratch and is immediately quality B.
Bottom line, iPhone trade-in can be better, but giving the fact you pay more for it initially, I think you end up loosing more money.

i am looking to switch from Android. The only reason to look into this is the fact that i don't want faceID and this is the only option in iPhone Land. Will dump this and switch to the first normal iPhone that has it

a 3-4 year old iphone is far better than the new iphone se :)
