Mi MI MIX 3, with ceramic back is like an ancestor for this one... Still perfect after 3 years.

I can't stand the diminished yser experience by using either of these items.In using naked phones for almost 15 years, I had a cracked screen only once which was covered under warranty.

I've yet to meet a single person who does not use a case on his phone (expensive one). So couldn't care less about this ceramic build; looks nice though, at least in the picture. In my opinion, plastic is still far superior in most of the aspects (price, durability, ease of production etc.)

Wish they would stop the "it looks so sexy" garbage. 99.9% of the people that get these overpriced things, stick them in a PROTECTIVE CASE, which destroys all of the slim, colorful & stylish nonsense.

Xperia 5 II owner here, if I was ever going to pay 1000 dollars or more for a phone, I don't think I would go for anything else than Samsung or Apple. These Chinese phones where their manufacturers abandon them at first opportunity are only good around 200 dollars pricetag where you don't expect it to have it more than 2 years anyway.
