I have the 6s and 6s plus, still smooth updated to the latest ios version. The only downside I am noticing is the battery drain, which is expected already from an old device with an updated os.

Besides that look at the spot and size of the camera glas; so even esthetically the design is different.
What can be said the 6 is the weak grandfather of the stronger and internally quite different 7 / 8 designs.
Iphone SE is definetely iphone 7 based. Try to bend it.

Iph... moreYou are right to some extent. Even when you want to buy cases, they work for all 3 phones, iPhone 7/8/SE2.
iPhone 6 design, even though it looked nice for that period, it had a lot of structural problems. That is why they correct them with iPhone 6s and improved them further with iPhone 7 and 8.
But, the article is about the design, which is similar. Not identical of course.

Even Apple switched to Oled for all its line-up of phones, because they saw they are way better. They kept the Lcd display just for the iPhone SE series because they wanted to make it cheap. Is not bad Lcd, but saying is better than an Oled display, yeah right..they are living in their bubble and nobody can save them.

Iphone SE 2020 / 2022 is based on Iphone 7 or even 8.
Iphone 6 is entirely different build altough the looks are there.
So i call B.S. to this article.

The worst iPhone design that lives on after 8+ years. The design for it peaked with the matte black 7. The best iPhone design dropped in 2012. The 5-series still remains my favorite. I owned the 4-series since launch but having a glass back and having it heftier is not for me.
People love the X-series but I can't stand glossy glass backs. Get the frosted ones of the Pro models from the 11-13. To me, it's 5S/SE, then 4/S, and then matte black 7. I could actually buy another iPhone 7 again but why bother? I generally can't stand iOS. Haven't used my SE1 for over a month because battery life dies so quickly since iOS14.
