I prefer the shape of the older phones to the new ones. Waiting for the SE 2020 5G plus.

As XYZ has previously stated I also have an iPhone 6 as my secondary phone now that I have the SE (2020) as my primary phone. Despite the problematic battery my 6 still has I just keep in mind of that problem and my 6 still runs good. It's not worth it to replace that battery anymore; I doubt Apple will replace it even if I'm willing to pay for it.

[deleted post]There is some truth to what you say but I'm tired of people talking spec sheets. iPhones have less RAM & smaller batteries but are still dunking the top Androids in performance & battery life.

Htc = curved back, cnetered camera
Apple = flat back, cornered cam

But ppl here keep insisting both are equal.

Apple has saved over US$ 6 billion by removing accessories from iphone's box. Value does not count money made from selling those.

Iphone SE3 has better design than 13 mini.

I miss the era of the aluminium unibody phones. That design I loved the most, regardless of the brand. Technically you didn't have to put those in ugly cases like you'd better do with glass sandwich ones. Agreed, if it fell it got dented and scratched but it didn't break.

The iPhone 6 had several hardware failures, was not a big upgrade from the 5s apart from the screen and the rear design wasn‘t very pretty in my opinion when it came out because of the antenna lines across the back and the camera that was not aligned to the side.

However, it was one of the most important iPhones for Apple, setting the record for best selling smartphone ever, which is still not beaten yet. Also, it was the first iPhone to come in much bigger sizes, and also wider which was not done before (the iPhone 5 was only taller)

In my opinion, this form factor is a great balance between reachability and screen real estate. In fact, I personally have been using it for 6 years, in the form of iPhone 7 and SE2. They truly hit it out of the park with this chassis in my opinion.

All these people complaining about the design… Have you considered not buying it if you don’t like it? Or has it ever occurred to you that some people just don’t care much for the design as long as the specs are great, as they are in the SE? “The bezels are too thick” Well, guess what, I’m using it and isn’t bothered a bit by them, on the other hand I have an A13 chip and software updates until late 2025.

Apple A8 chip still supports iOS 15 in the form of iPadOS 15 on the iPad mini 4. The reason why iPhone 6 doesn't support iOS 13 and later because iOS 13/iPadOS 13 required at least 2 GB RAM which the 6 and 5s doesn't have.
