Just some 10 years late and they always make this stupid segmenting of updates across models so you end up not knowing how many updates specific model really gets and to make matters worse, it'll be all over the news for something that will only apply to 1500€ phones and people will think they'll get the same on 100€ phones. Meanwhile Apple just does it the same across all models, be it a 400€ iPhone SE or 1600€ iPhone Pro Max. Or they just plain don't tell you like Xiaomi where getting updates is like lottery. Sometimes you get some, most of the time you get none...

Recently, other brands are also are announcing they will support flaghips for a longer time, not as long as apple but I think it's still a step in the right direction

i think 100$ savings are too small to get a refurbished device with less warranty and no original box.. mught as well scout for deals to get an unlocked version for cheap

Feels like we're still in 2010... But Apple is so greedy by providing 5 years of major OS updates and even up to 8 years of security updates. Also if Android phones are always so superior, why do you think there is so many iPhone users? Your only argument of course will be "they only care about the logo". Sure...

tons of better android phones out there for the same cash. And obviously they don't come with a measly 64 GB storage. That is something only greedy apple does even in 2022

Too bad it is only available in the USA (Apple official) that is. Although there are tons of chinese sellers online. I've bought 2 iphones and 1 iPad not bad, still working.
