I tried bending some old screen protectors and I could bend them so far backwards that the outer edges touched (got folded onto itself). It did crack under some more tension, but it was actual glass being folded. I just don't know how durable it could be for many folds and unfolds...

IpsDisplay, 15 Mar 2022My prediction is that this will be super marketing With ... moreWith s pen they could increase price(especially if they will use s22 ultra cameras) and maybe release lite version without s pen and waterproofing and with mid range soc and cameras with 6-8gb of ram for lower price to combat those upcoming chinese flood of folding phones which will be priced 1000-1200 dollars.

Hopefully this means the outer layer of the screen can be finally made out of glass. If not, then duh.

Rather that why don't Samsung make the next zfold free gap and crease like oppo find n, it's funny if Samsung at 4 generation still have horrible gap and crease.

Samsung use???
It has been proven GG Victus plus is wealer than GG5.
Any screen protector could do a lot better job for less. Same goes for leather book case.
This aint necessary.

As long as Samsung keeps putting the glass behind the plastic layer, there will be no change in user experience.

My prediction is that this will be super marketing
With a considerable price increase
But virtually no real world durability gains
