This is another scam. All realme phones compatible to 120hz is locked at 60hz on games. Even if you use apps to unlock 120hz, game is still locked at 60 fps. Gt neo 2 is still junk because of that.

Lets make a summary :
Its slip on frame to make games run at faster 50% fps which mean 60 to 90 but can:t at 120 fps? As most game is 60 fps
The test is genshin impact which is not a competitive game
I wonder if the feature wont work on competitive games, looking at the first point it should be fine as the job is only slip on a single intermediary frame

Last year, Samsung put 14 cores G78, Google 20 cores G78...and games run better on D1200's 9 cores G77! Reality!
This year Samsung uses AMD GPU and once again it's failure!
Last year, Qualcomm has heating problem on SD888.
This year, SD8 Gen 1 is even worst.
Plus it still lacks AV1 hardware decoder when D1000 bas zone 3 years ago.
This year D9000 offers better CPU, better RAM bandwith, better AI perfs, better ISP (higher pixel rate...but you will compare probably 350€ devices without OIS and with crappy secondary sensors to 1000€ devices with OIS, telephoto and so on! When you put proper sensors, results are here, like on Vivo X70 Pro!), better decoder, very close GPU performances...and better stability and power consumption than SD8 Gen 1.
And D8100 offers SD888 performances but with SD865's stability and power consumption.
You will probably see 8100 works better in games than some 8 Gen 1 non gaming dervices because of Qualcomm's awfull stability.
Until Qualcomm uses TSMC's process on 8 Gen 1+, Mediatek is ahead!
This year, only Apple offers something better than Mediatek

If this chip takes the GPU-rendered frames A and B to calculate and insert interpolated frames a1, a2 a3 generate a final output of A, a1, a2, a3, B (that would be converting 30 to 120 fps), then the earliest a1 can be shown would be by the time frame B is known. More realistically, frame A can be displayed once frame B has been calculated. That would be an extra 33 ms of latency on the output side, which to me is the difference between "very good" and "okay" and nothing that I would want.
