nanagdad, 20 Mar 2022Oneplus is now the next Xiaomi. You wonder who introduce... moreLol, I do the same with my X7 Max I bought in August!
It still has the May patch & build A.15.

But I'm waiting for stable Android 12 build to update, because the previous Android 11 builds had me concerned mostly because of the battery draining issues (i don't care about the 90 fps BGMI shit, excessive battery drain is much more problematic) I've on the forums, but then again there are some configuring comments

The Oneplus 9 Pro hasn't received the OS 12 update in the UK yet. Additionally Google Security hasn't been updated since last November. Very poor service.

I love my OnePlus 8 Pro. Hardware wise, it's the best phone I've owned.

But from a graphic design standpoint, the fonts and designs of OxygenOS need to be revamped.

Huawei's OS looks so much more polished, clean, and wonderful to look at compared to OxygenOS's basic looking designs. For example, whenever you dismiss an alarm, it's just a huge white text on black background that says "Alarm Dismissed".. no design, no nothing.

I think that they need to hire a graphic designer (or replace the current one)!

                What's about KB2000 ?

Oneplus is now the next Xiaomi.

You wonder who introduced these bugs in the first place only to come and try to fix some & introduce more the cycle repeats. Because some of these bugs where not present when I first bought this sh#t.

                  Just check out this changelog:

We have Fixed the issue we previously introduced that background applications are abnormally closed in specific scenarios

We have Fixed the issue we previously introduced lens permissions when using third party camera applications

We have Fixed the issue we previously introduced of screen cannot respond when receiving notifications

We have Fixed the issue we previously introduced that unable to automatically connect to Wi-Fi

We have Fixed the issue we previously introduced that wireless earphones cannot play sound when connecting Bluetooth in specific scenarios

                  Never Again Xiaomi
                  Never Again OnePlus

When you buy one of these phones NEVER update the version of OS you get out of the box if you want your phone to remain smooth like the first day you bought it.

Oxygen OS 12 isn't even out yet in Europe, for the OnePlus 9 Pro...

Idk if someone has ever mentioned this but did they add the semi Material You on the latest patch cuz I noticed that the Google apps and Gboard have the same theme colors are my wallpaper. No color palette like Google's tho

8T users who tested the beta, said it was pretty good... Let's see when the EU-version of this update gets released.

I have been using OOS 12 on my OP9P, and it's one of the worst OS I have used in my 12 years of Android exposure. The number of bugs present is exponential, and even with multiple updates they didn't fix anything. WhatsApp incoming call black screen, ghost notification in AOD, multitask glitches, bitmoji AOD bug, YouTube autoplay... Just to name a few.

"The OTA packages have begun a staged rollout in the OBT (open beta test) branch and should be coming to the stable branch shortly."

So the update is rolling out slowly to those in the closed beta before it rolls out to everyone? That sounds like a new beta build available to a select few rather than a stable rollout.

I saw the the Nord 2's first closed beta was released in India a couple of days ago. I don't think we'll be seeing the stable release until May.

Guess majority of users were never waiting for this update to arrive.
