Lots of customization. While with WP and IOS have the same thing. u have to stick to jst one skin. I think That's more boring. And even more boring is that there's not so much apps in WP.
If WP will give some room for customization and Expand there app store its a strong contender. I think Apple and Microsoft are afraid to put unlimited customization to their OS coz it makes Os more resource hogging . People claims that Android is slow and etc etc but they never touch the fact.

It will always disconnect on battery however. Personally I would only want it to Remain on constantly on my home network (mainly for my Sonos system, having to wait for a reconnect to skip a song gets a little tedious).

Your reasoning does not hold water.
And about wi-fi: If you don't have an unlimited data contract, you better update/download apps via wi-fi. Those downloads/updates might take more time than the phone takes to switch off the screen. If wi-fi is gone, you can't download the apps, except over the 3G(expensive). If you keep the screen on, you don't save any power. So disconnecting the wi-fi if the screen is off, is plain stupid.
WP is stupid, that's a fact!

I have a concern with nokia.....cos what the heavens or otherwise do you want to achieve with camera which you have nit achieved yet?
Pureview stability is unrivalled on mobile but you keep on updating n updating one direction of perfection when the battery, heating, heavy phones, internet weakness....all slag the market growth.
Nokia 808 was rumoured to replicate sucess of N8 but that is not the case, Camera is no longer the hit for phones.....if so pureview would have sold 200m units by the first week of launch.
this the deal, protect consumer security by not allowing possible loss of data...or malware atacks and make slim lighter phones with a perfect UI....and very good specifications.

Next time use some american muscle car for your analogues. They also need 6 liter engines to produce the same amount of HP, a modern car can squeeze out of 2. And similar to Android the technology used is based on 50 year old concepts.

MS has not ... moreThe storage named 'other' contains the internal storage for all installed applications. Surprisingly, downloading 100s of MB worth of maps, internet explorer cache, dictionaries etc. do eat up space. This is solved better on android devices, by not allowing offline navigation via google maps for example :D
As for the apparent "bugs" with WiFi, the connection is restored as soon as you unlock the phone, so this is indeed a feature aimed at improving battery life. Enabling WiFi while locked only makes sense for people w/o mobile internet.

to nokia: dont keep trying the same thing with a little modification cause you will have the moderately same result.you have fail to sell your windows phone the before lumia 920.try different product maybe tablet phones. that is nothing wrong with windows. the main reason windows are not saleable coz it is used for working not phones,so it is complex and not likeable by user.they are many windows sold inform of tablet and laptop and it is not complained for years. ur 4 inch is lumia phone cannot be optimized for office in windows. so windows potential cannot be used, get it. android will have a hard time to compete with windows when it has to handle heavy multimedia task.

iOS 71% satisfied.
WP 53% (and note "Windows Phone is sat at 53%, which is actually not anything to boast about.").
Android at 48%. Well sure, the Porsche carrera has lower satisfaction ratings than Tata Nano.

still no call blocker. why wp8 still didn't include call blocker or sms filter ? is it hard ?
this reject call by sms is nice, but I'd better vibrate my phone when I'm too busy to accept call.
and this feature is not a call blocker. you still need to press button on current call to send rejection sms.
