Samsung TVs are enticing and I'm in the market for an 8K TV but until they support Dolby Vision, I will not purchase one.

I think it will be QD OLED not neo QLED

Once 8k panel prices fall to the same as 4k panels then 8k will become the standard. 8k content or no 8k content.

Anonymous, 21 Mar 2022Why do you put useless info like this. Yes their new 8k TV ... moreActually,I bought a QN900A65 for $3000 which is amazing. It hold lots of advantage such as 2000+nit brightness. Try one and you will have a different thoughts!

Anonymous, 21 Mar 20228K is USELESS since there is no TV station broadcasting in 8K I guess we'll just have to watch the 8K videos we recorded on our Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra until TV stations start broadcasting in 8K.

Why do you put useless info like this. Yes their new 8k TV that costs £/€/$7000+ with little to no content for it is coming out so 99% of people can't afford it, thanks for telling us 👍. Qled isn't new and LG, Sony and Panasonic do just as interesting tech (I'd say LG is the most interesting but hey, you can't afford any current top end tech till 2030 unless you're linusTechTips who gets the latest TV tech so again, yay! 😑)

Why don't OEMs bring Qled /MINILED to smartphones already

The ultra competitive environment of smartphones can advance the development of MINILED exponentially and bring the cost down

We need processors to put their processing power to good use to control all those dimming zones close to a 1:1 ratio

The technology is being wasted on the slower A/V / TV market
