GNSS is used on Mediatek's at least since Helio X10 in 2015.
Even some entry level like Helio A20 uses it.

Anonymous, 23 Mar 2022Some people think they worth the spying, as if a government... moreWell, even if you are doing problematic activity that government would be interested in, then they have to ask the service provider for data and that provider has to give it to them unless they have zero access policy. And there is not a single map provider with that. Only standalone GPS navigations without internet have that, so if you want to hide your activity from the government, you would use that. This GNSS service is no different than Google Maps when it comes to collected data.

Anonymous, 23 Mar 2022Some people think they worth the spying, as if a government... moreBe Russian and say something against your politicians. Then come here how that would go. Same for China. And bunch of other countries, even America. Though they are more subtle in that regard, but far from innocent. Yeah, people keep saying "I don't care about X" without knowing what that means. Giving away privacy is easy. You all just hand it over daily. Getting it back is next to impossible once you gave it away. So, being cautious and not just hand everything over willingly isn't so absurd.

Anonymous, 22 Mar 2022Data spies for governmentstoppp ... totally agree ... and here is the marketing ... building a safer world, identifying crimes before it happens, minority report style with quantum computing

... it is more expensive to train agents on the ground ... just let 7 billion people buy gadgets and use their gadgets ... your data is your privacy, thats the marketing

This tech would be usefull for carefull drivers those who drive insane mad reaching 150-200 km/h in town or city and 300+ outside of the town and city will find this useless.

700 lineup needs new members though.
