Realme GT Master Edition, X7 Max 5G receiving Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 stable update

    But was bummed that it went on huge discount just months later, well but I needed a phone that time, so couldn't really wait.
    It sure is in no way perfect, but still among the better Realme phones imo!

    Things I miss/wish for:-
    ~*OIS* (since now almost every Realme phone has borrowed the IMX766+OIS setup).
    ~microSD slot or USB 3.1 type-C (still nowhere on a realme phone lol).
    ~better UW (at least 12MP like Sammy's), don't care much about the stupid macro, as I can get way way much better results using the main lens+digital zoom+GCam.
    ~a bit smaller in size (including the chin, the X2 Pro still has a slimmer chin I think) like the Reno6 (5G) which has the same screen size.
    ~better balanced speakers, right now they feel like 30/70 or even less.
    ~better Dark Mode optimisation in extreme dark as well as outdoors (it just goes crazy with the dark grays and colours in general, doesn't happen on any other realme phone afaik)
    ~I think there's some green tint issue (noticeable in dark mode at low brightness, but goes away when battery saver mode is turned ON)
    ~Dragontrail glass is probably equivalent to GG, but GG3 or 5 would've been better like the X2 Pro, I don't mind the plastic back though as it doesn't get hot like glass (on the Nord2 for example)
    ~matte frame like the 7 Pro/XT, why the hell did they have to give a stupid glossy plastic that too in chrome finish which scratches easily and are visible.
    ~another typical Realme trope of pasting the display on top of the frame rather than putting it inside it, making it look cheaper (my previous Z2 Plus had a much better build/design in this aspect)

      This is just stupid reachability from ios not 1-handed mode, ffk!!
      And I was hoping that they would let us change the size of that 1-handed mode screen like Samsung, yet here we are🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
      Idk what you are on about navigation bar tho!?

Every OS in the world has bugs nobody introduces them, Windows, Android iOS all suffer from bugs. I've actually had less problems with likes of Realme and Oppo than I have with Samsung etc. Bug will always happen it's just the way software is

              Things that I hate the most about android is the update. It super slow and comes to selected region only and for some time later to all user. Why not just push the update altogether to every eligible devices? and other annoying things is like it comes for older devices first before newest one? like GT NEO 2 is the latest one before x7 max. So stupid of Realme doing that. I really hate their customer services as well. pffft.

                  The problem with CN phones is that you get the OS that came out of the box in good working order. Anything after that is just bugs. The reason I don't update these phones after buying them. Xiaomi is the big culprit followed by realme & OnePlus the most evil now. Notice how each future changelog will be full of fixed this fixed that, you wonder who introduces the bugs in the first place. I don't think I will update to this new version of Realme UI 3.0 though it looks great. But if I really need it in the future I will have to buy a phone that ships with realme UI 3.0 out of the box.

                    They limited one handed mode to full screen gesture mode. That means I'm staying on ui 2.0. I can't let go navigation bar or one handed mode for anything.

                      Three months of beta testing and the stable version is only being released in India now? So that'll be four months before it reaches other countries once April clicks over next week. I don't know that I'd conclude that "testing has gone smoothly".
